Tapluna is a family-type honey company that started in 1870 with one bee colony caught in the forest.
Our Products
Starting in 2025, we introduced honey to the market in an innovative, single-serving 15-gram package, aiming to make honey consumption at home more convenient, allow consumers to take honey anywhere, and replace unhealthy white sugar with a healthy, natural sweetener.
We own up to 700 bee colonies and produce and sell only our own honey. This allows us to be confident that the honey is produced in a clean environment, in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards, and that no health-hazardous preparations or antibiotics were used during production, which is a major problem in Georgia. We produce honey in various locations in Kakheti, near the Lagodekhi Nature Reserve, in the Alazani and Shiraki valleys, etc.
